Status of the School

The Eduplex entranceThe Rihs ECD Centre opened as a Pre-school facility in January 2002. It is registered at the Department of Health and Welfare.

The Eduplex Primary School opened in January 2003 as the first fully inclusive school in South Africa. It is registered at the Department of Education and with the Independent School Association of South Africa (ISASA).

The school is registered as a non-profit Article 21 Company.

The school is managed by an Executive Committee consisting of:

  • Assistant Director of the Eduplex
  • The school Principal - Sandy Wubbeling
  • Chairman of the Parent Representative Body
  • Vice principal responsible for the Pre-School
  • Vice principal responsible for the Primary School
  • Vice Principal responsible for Parent Guidance & Audiology

  • Sport Manager
