Curriculum

The school follows Outcomes Based Education (OBE) as prescribed by the Minister of Education, and conforming to the National Curriculum Statement. This curriculum is supplemented by the British syllabus for literacy, numeracy and science.

The new Information Technology Centre provides pupils with the opportunity to keep abreast with the latest developments in this important area of the curriculum.

Leadership development, entrepreneurship, the development of creative thinking and general knowledge form part of the curriculum.

English and Afrikaans are taught as first and second languages in our parallel medium school.

Extra mural activities

We are concerned with the development of the whole child and offer a wide range of activities and programmes including chess, music, art and pottery classes.

Individual and team sport also plays an important part within the Primary School programme. In addition, various afternoon sports are offered and organised by our sports administrator.

Afternoon Supervision

The school offers afternoon supervision. This service is available at additional cost.
